Sport is a powerful investment domain that intersects business, culture, and identity. Our engagement in football and broader sports sectors aligns with our brand and long-term communication strategy.
Through sport, we aim to:
- Build global visibility
- Invest in youth and wellness
- Promote social impact through shared values
For WGI, sport is both a strategic sector and a long-term communication vehicle—especially as we expand our influence in Europe, the Gulf, and Africa.
We are looking to acquire a football club as an addition to our portfolio.

Official football partner at WGI
“Joining WGI as an official football partner is both a great honour and an exciting opportunity. It allows me to bring the expertise I’ve gained throughout my playing career, as well as from my ongoing education with FIFA and UEFA.
My goal is to contribute to success both on and off the pitch, by surrounding myself with competitive, trustworthy people, and by staying true to the values I bring to the group and to the football side of the project.”
